What our clients say…
Project growth is the enemy of every refit, add to that a bow wave of maintenance to be completed and you might appreciate that tying up your Chief Engineer to manage contractors and yard personnel who speak a foreign language during a refit is counter productive.
I have worked with Frank Garcia on two occasions at MB92 and it has been proven a success.
Frank is explained the scope of work and the budget constraints during the first meeting with the boat and he then takes command of the tasks freeing up the Captain and Chief Engineer to complete other work. Since Frank knows almost all of the contractors and staff at MB92 personally he immediately takes a pragmatic view getting the work done quickly and diplomatically with minimal growth. “Lost in translation” problems do not occur and thus everyone works more happily and productively.
I can recommend the services of Frank Garcia without reservation.
Frank was our project manager for Silencio’s major refit last year. Frank liaised with the yard and outside contractors to ensure the work was done in the most efficient way, not only on time but on budget. With so much going on and with so many people involved, it was great to have Frank on hand night and day, dealing with all the obstacles that a project of this magnitude throws up.
For many years, Frank was very much part of the extensive refit program of MY Talitha.
I couldn’t want for a better relationship between project manager and captain. Frank is supremely calm, knowledgeable, honest and fair. Better still, he gets the job done.
He has now gone out on his own and I can only hope to bring him onside in the near future.
